Bloody hell dude, those controls were fucking amazing! They really make this game, even though the minimalistic color scheme was great and your attempt at - in lack of a better term - "Portal-like" humor was quite decent.
For a sequel though, personally I'd like a little more focus on getting quickly to the finish and dodging attacks than collecting stuff. The way the levels are made you always feel like you're missing something. Since the controls are so smooth, I think you would utilize them betterin a game where continuous, speedy movement is more essential.

I think that's a pretty fair suggestion. Smooth, uninterrupted running is really fun. With the amount of times I've run through I can do it, but that's really hard for someone just jumping in.
At the same time some people really like the exploring, non-linear aspect, so I tried to strike a balance.

This game can only be described as awesome. I love the gameplay, which actually reminds me a great deal of Worms, with the destructable environment and all. I really can't agree with the people saying the difficulty level is too high. Personally I think it was perfect. Just hard enough to force you to work up some skills before the game is finished.
Although there is one level that was way too easy. I think it's the third one, the snow fort. Once you get ammo for the bazooka you can simply blow your way through the floor and end up right after the giant christmas tree, and then you've practically finished the level. Not quite challenging enough for me.
All in all though, fantastic game! Definitely one of my favourite games on NG.

I must say I didn't watch this at first because of the word Mario in the title. I didn't like the thought of yet another cheap sprite-animation. But woah, dude... this was surprisingly good.
The choice of music was EXCELLENT, never before have I seen an animation that fully made use of the potential in those wonderful tunes. Great work. I also smiled several times when watching, although I found some of the jokes rather lame.
Overall though, a good flash. You are hereby allowed to be proud!

A very refreshing mixture of interactive goodies. You did a really good job comining the different genres and features into one solid piece of entertainment. And yikes, that tutorial-beat was great! Where did you get it?
Once again, a solid piece of work worthy of a high score. Keep doing that thing that you.. uhm.. do. Yeah. Five thumbs up.

Graphics: 6/10 Very simple, but it still had some sort of charm.
Sound: 0/10 Well, there weren't any.
Interactivity: 8/10 Pretty damn interactive I'd say.
Style: 3/10 The usual gradients, a ball going downwards, not much stiyle in it.
Violence: 0/10 None.
Humour: 5/10 Mildly entertaining.
Ok, so now for the review. The game concept is actually really interesting, and could make for a nice entertainment if only there were more features included. I really enjoyed it once it started going really fast. The only problem was it took way too long before it did. I almost got bored before the interesting came. So I say: scip the first boring minutes, it's way too easy.
Overall a nice game. The physics are not spectacular, but I've seen worse, believe me.

Okay, so I've watched the movie, I've read some of the reviews - and your responses to them. I must say, you do make points in the fact that just as you, Knox imports and edits. Flash is a multimedia program, not created for just animation. People need to get this.
But judging by your responses to people who were actually trying to make a point, you're just an immature little kid. As people have been saying, the problem lies in the creativity. You might think skating is creative, yes, but this movie is not. I've seen tons of this kind of movies before. I've seen it all been done. You may be a good skater, but that doesn't make this anything new.
I find most of Knox's works creative. The jokes and the time he must spend on coming up with them are almost always impressive. And who are you to say the detail and patience in his claymations are less worth than your physical activity in this movie? That's just immature.
I'm looking forward to see your next movie, and I do hope you take all the good advices you've actually gotten into consideration. Please think this through before posting yet another dumb answer.

I saw your last flash (I'm one of the few who didn't want to blam it). This is clearly an improvement. I say keep to this artistic touch, work a tiny bit more on the fbf animation and you might really become something!

Thanks! Improving is always a good thing, isn't it? =) Yes, I tried a little frame-by-frame animating, and it didn't turn out very good. I'll practice more!
