Hunted Forever

"Awesomeness"

submission: Hunted Forever
date: October 19, 2008

Bloody hell dude, those controls were fucking amazing! They really make this game, even though the minimalistic color scheme was great and your attempt at - in lack of a better term - "Portal-like" humor was quite decent.

For a sequel though, personally I'd like a little more focus on getting quickly to the finish and dodging attacks than collecting stuff. The way the levels are made you always feel like you're missing something. Since the controls are so smooth, I think you would utilize them betterin a game where continuous, speedy movement is more essential.

Author's Response:

I think that's a pretty fair suggestion. Smooth, uninterrupted running is really fun. With the amount of times I've run through I can do it, but that's really hard for someone just jumping in.

At the same time some people really like the exploring, non-linear aspect, so I tried to strike a balance.

A very refreshing mixture of interactive goodies. You did a really good job comining the different genres and features into one solid piece of entertainment. And yikes, that tutorial-beat was great! Where did you get it?

Once again, a solid piece of work worthy of a high score. Keep doing that thing that you.. uhm.. do. Yeah. Five thumbs up.

Author's Response:

you know what else is refreshing? this review. its great to work on something and get positive feedback like this.

the beat that made you say YIKES was found on flashkit.com look under the soundloops section.

anyway thanks for the five thumbs up space swashbukler (like the name) and thanks for the review

I saw your last flash (I'm one of the few who didn't want to blam it). This is clearly an improvement. I say keep to this artistic touch, work a tiny bit more on the fbf animation and you might really become something!

Author's Response:

Thanks! Improving is always a good thing, isn't it? =) Yes, I tried a little frame-by-frame animating, and it didn't turn out very good. I'll practice more!

There's some debate, but overall people think this is a useless review.

"Pretty nice."

Well it was pretty ok I guess, though I'm a bit dissapointed.. The beginning of the movie promised a very beautiful and artistic flash, though it turned out to be yet another pile of animated violence. You have potential, though appearantly you're not using it the way you should.

I guess the animation was ok though, overall. I think you got (or should I say STOLE?!) the gun(Which is really nicely drawn. The guy who made it has skills.) from Divine Intervention pt. 1, I didn't like the fact you didn't even mention it in the credits.

Author's Response:

yer i am sorry about that i did copy the pic from DV pt.1 thx for the sppech though.

"Pretty nice work."

For a first submission it was very neat. And hey, I recognised the music from Snatch. Can you please tell me what that music's called? In fact you should have it in the credits since you didn't makie it yourself...

Author's Response:

it's called Disco Science and it's by Mirwais. Ireally should include that yes. Snatch is an awesome movie and an equally good soundtrack...thanks for the review anyway

Who are you to judge what is good and what is bad? The U.S provokes war after war filled with lies and bullshit.

"God bless america" lol... why would he even care about your fucked-uo country?!

And look what Israel is doing to Palestina while we're speaking. You think that's good? Stealing land and killing innocent people with the same excuses as the U.S. "They're terrorsists, let's kill 'em!"

Bah. You're wasting my time.

BLAM THIS PIECE OF CRAP!

Detective Frofrog 2

"One of the best flash movies... EVER:"

date: October 19, 2003

Ok. Where to start... hmm..

I just finished watching this movie and I must say.. wow..

Not only are the graphics superb, the sound and voice-acting great and the characters wonderful, but what I found most interesting with this piece of art is the style you put into it.

All these physics, interesting species and the sense of a totally complete history of this planet and the umbrella city, transforms all the other features of the movie into something.. perfect. It gives me a feeling I haven't recieved since I read the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy series, and I guess that's what you want, considering the 'thanks for all the fish' comment at the end.

I can say nothing more than I love your work. It's proven flash can be more than dying sticks and matrix effects. Flash can be something like this.

Thanks for the 8-minutes of perfection.

Author's Response:

No, thank you...

Isn't the HGtG the best book ever. I just love it. I think I'll make a little tribute to Douglas Adams in the next episode (iaw in a year or 2, haha).
